Telephone Protection Adviser – Altrincham (Office-Based)
Location: Altrincham, UK (office-based, no home working)
Salary: £35,000 basic
Earning potential: Realistic OTE of £60,000+ (£2,000+ average monthly bonus)
About Hug Life
Hug Life is a growing protection advisory firm based in Altrincham. We're passionate about helping individuals and families secure their financial future. Demand for our advice has grown faster than our team, and we now have more inbound enquiries than we can handle. That's why we're looking for experienced Protection Advisers to join us.
The Role
You'll advise clients over the telephone on Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover and Income Protection. You'll find the right solution for each client from our panel of leading providers. There's no cold calling. We provide the leads, so you can focus on what you do best: advising clients.

This is a fully office-based role at our Altrincham office. Working from home is not available.
What We Offer
- A basic salary of £35,000
- Uncapped earning potential, with a realistic monthly bonus of £2,000+. This includes commission on written business plus additional bonuses for client reviews and policy retention

Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 10:30am – 7:00pm
- Friday: 9:30am – 3:00pm (early finish every Friday)
- No weekends
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience advising on Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover and Income Protection
- A confident, consultative telephone manner
- A client-focused approach with excellent communication skills
- The drive to achieve and exceed targets while maintaining the highest standards of advice and compliance
