PROTECTION SPECIALIST
Salary: £30,000 basic + uncapped commission | Top Performers £75,000 OTE
Location: Chorley - Fully Office Based
Hours: Mon-Thur (09:20-18:30) Fri (09:00-15:00)
Are you currently working in an advised sales role within protection, insurance, mortgages, or financial services and looking for stronger earning potential? This is an opportunity to join a growing insurance and mortgage brokerage where qualified leads are provided, so you can focus on advising customers, closing business, and maximizing your commission rather than generating your own leads. You'll speak with customers who have already expressed an interest, understand their circumstances, and provide suitable advice across life insurance, critical illness, and income protection.
What you'll be doing
- Managing a consistent flow of qualified customer leads
- Understanding customers' circumstances and protection requirements
- Providing tailored advice across life insurance, critical illness, and income protection
- Managing the full advised sales journey from initial conversation through to completion
- Building rapport and confidently handling customer objections
- Closing business and working towards individual sales targets
- Following up with customers and progressing applications
- Ensuring all advice and customer records meet compliance requirements
- Developing your product knowledge through ongoing training and support

What we're looking for
- Experience within an advised sales environment
- Background in protection, life insurance, mortgages, insurance, or similar financial services
- Confident providing recommendations based on individual customer needs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment
- Strong sales, objection-handling, and closing skills
- Confident building rapport with customers over the phone
- Motivated by targets, commission, and earning potential
- Customer-focused with an understanding of working within a regulated environment
