Protection Adviser - Join Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB)
Location: Bude, Cornwall
Position Type: Full-time Self-Employed
Commission Splits: 40–50%, to be discussed and agreed

We're on the lookout for a motivated and customer-focused Protection Adviser to join our growing team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide expert advice on protection products, including life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, and family income benefit.
- Work closely with Mortgage Advisers and clients to understand their needs and recommend tailored protection solutions.
- Review protection needs across the existing client bank, with appointments booked by MAB.
- Ensure all advice is compliant and in line with MAB’s high standards.
- Build lasting client relationships through exceptional service and trust.

What we’re looking for:
- Experience as a protection-only adviser; this role is not suitable for academy applicants.
- Excellent knowledge of protection products and a commitment to doing the right thing for clients.
- Strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills.
- A collaborative approach and a strong fit with the team.
- Based in the South West, within commuting distance of Bude, Cornwall, for weekly or fortnightly office visits.
