Job Title: Protection Advisor
Location: Marshall House, 2 Park Avenue, Sale, M33 6HE
Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 depending on experience and if you have R05 qualification
Job Type: Full time, Permanent.
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Life Insurance Advisor to join our growing life insurance brokerage.
The successful candidate will provide expert advice to individuals and families, helping them identify the most suitable life insurance solutions from a panel of leading insurers.
The role involves building trusted client relationships, conducting comprehensive financial protection reviews, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the client journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with prospective and existing clients to understand their financial protection needs and objectives.
- Recommend suitable life insurance products, including:
- Life Insurance
- Critical Illness Cover
- Income Protection
- Compare products from multiple insurers to provide impartial recommendations that represent the clients' best interests.
- Explain policy features, benefits, exclusions, and costs in a clear and compliant manner.
- Generate new business through referrals, company-generated leads, networking, and existing client relationships.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all advice and sales activities comply with FCA regulations and Consumer Duty requirements.
- Liaise with insurers, underwriters, mortgage advisers, and other stakeholders to facilitate policy applications.
- Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to policy placement and ongoing reviews.
- Achieve agreed sales and quality targets while maintaining excellent customer outcomes.
- Keep up to date with industry developments, product changes, and regulatory updates.

Skills And Experience
Essential:
- Previous experience in life insurance or financial services sales.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong consultative selling and objection-handling abilities.
- Ability to explain complex financial products in simple terms.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
- Experience working within a life insurance brokerage or mortgage brokerage.
- Knowledge of protection products from multiple insurers.
- R05 qualification.

- Earliest start is 9am.
- Latest finish 7.00pm.
- 2pm latest finish on Fridays.
- No weekend working
