Protection Broker (Life, CIC, Income Protection)
Employed Up to £40k Basic + Commission or Self-Employed – offering a fantastic earning potential
Location: Home-based (commutable to London — required a couple of times a month)
We're looking for an experienced Protection Broker to join a well-established and highly respected financial services provider. You will work closely with a team of mortgage brokers, providing professional, customer-focused protection advice to clients across Life Insurance, Critical Illness, and Income Protection.
You'll work closely alongside the mortgage advisers, picking up warm client relationships and ensuring every client's protection needs are properly understood and met - not just tacked on as an afterthought to their mortgage.

This is a role for a genuinely experienced protection professional who takes pride in doing right by clients, wants flexibility in how they work, and is motivated by strong, uncapped earning potential.
Responsibilities:
- Providing tailored protection advice across Life Insurance, Critical Illness, and Income Protection
- Working closely with a team of mortgage brokers, ensuring a joined-up, professional client experience
- Building trusted relationships with clients, understanding their individual circumstances to recommend the right cover
- Managing your own pipeline of protection cases from initial conversation through to completion
- Maintaining the highest standards of compliance and client care throughout

Experience required:
- R05 qualified (essential)
- Highly experienced in protection insurance products, professional, and genuinely client-focused
- Comfortable working home based, with the flexibility to attend the office in London a couple of times a month
- Open to either an employed or self-employed basis, depending on what suits you best
- Strong communication skills and a consultative approach to advice
