Self-Employed Protection Adviser
Working within an Established Mortgage Brokerage
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Self-Employed
Earnings: Uncapped commission / generous commission structure
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Protection Adviser
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Protection Adviser to join our established mortgage brokerage on a self-employed basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an adviser who wants to build and grow their own protection business while benefiting from working alongside an existing mortgage operation, with access to an established client base and regular mortgage business.
You will be responsible for providing high-quality protection advice to clients, identifying their needs and recommending suitable solutions across areas such as Life Cover, Critical Illness Cover, Income Protection and Family Protection.
The Opportunity
Working alongside our existing mortgage advisers, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and manage your own protection client bank
- Receive protection referrals from an established mortgage business
- Build strong relationships with clients and introducers
- Conduct protection reviews and identify additional client needs
- Provide professional, compliant and tailored protection advice
- Manage your own diary and workload with the flexibility that self-employment provides
- Benefit from uncapped earning potential
- Grow your income through repeat business, referrals and client reviews
- Work as part of an established and supportive brokerage rather than building a business entirely from scratch

What we're looking for
We are looking for an adviser who is:
- Experienced in providing protection advice
- Qualified to the appropriate level to advise on protection products
- Confident dealing with clients over the telephone, virtually and/or face-to-face
- Commercially minded and motivated by earning potential
- Able to identify protection opportunities through effective fact-finding
- Professional, personable and committed to delivering excellent client service
- Comfortable working independently while being part of a wider brokerage
- Driven to build long-term client relationships and generate repeat/referral business
- Fully committed to maintaining high standards of compliance and treating customers fairly
