About the Company

The Role
As a Protection Broker, you'll spend 3-4 days per week in the Manchester office and the remainder working remotely. The office provides a collaborative and energetic atmosphere where advisers share knowledge, develop skills, and work closely with dedicated support teams.

You'll receive a steady flow of warm leads from mortgage brokers, referrals, and inbound enquiries, as well as full administrative and compliance support, enabling you to spend more time with clients providing expert advice and driving revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover, Income Protection, and Business Protection
- Conduct comprehensive fact-finds and recommend suitable solutions tailored to client needs
- Manage and convert warm leads generated through referrals, mortgage introductions, and inbound enquiries
- Maintain high standards of regulatory compliance and suitability
- Effectively manage your sales pipeline to maximise conversion rates and earnings
- Build long-term client relationships through a professional and consultative approach
Employed
- £35,000-£40,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
- Uncapped commission structure
- Warm qualified leads provided
- Full administration and compliance support
Self-Employed
- 45% commission on all banked business
- Warm qualified leads provided
- Full administration and compliance support

Requirements
- Experience selling protection products including Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover, and Income Protection
- Proven ability to convert leads and build lasting client relationships
- Highly motivated and comfortable working in a target-driven environment
- Strong communication and consultation skills
- Ability to manage a pipeline effectively and maximise opportunities
- CeMAP, RO5, or equivalent qualifications are advantageous but not essential
