We provide a personalised service, focused on getting to know you exactly what you want from your insurance cover. We take pride in offering an unrivalled service to our clients and partners. Our continued growth has created several opportunities available across our vibrant Protection Insurance sales teams and we are looking for a Sales Leader to join the team.
Through leading by example you will motivate and lead a sales team to deliver against sales expectations compliantly, and with excellent customer satisfaction, whilst delivering against own personal sales targets.

Requirements
- Responsibility for the performance of a team of sales advisers
- Ability to motivate, inspire through coaching for improved performance.
- First class communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to personally deliver consistently against sales targets.
- Flexibility and adaptability, working well under pressure and being able to balance delivering own results and support team to deliver their target.
- High levels of personal drive, with a passion for delivering compliant sales results
- Can clearly and concisely communicate goals, tasks, and requirements to the team.
- To lead effectively with the ability to earn trust.
- Decisiveness. Instead of relying on guesswork, you should have the ability to weigh up and understand options, whilst taking ownership.
- Relevant protection insurance experience.
Responsibilities
- Conducting impactful sales coaching with team members to maximise their potential.
- Empowering team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and sales skills.
- Conducting monthly touch base catch ups and daily buzz sessions to engage team and communicate expectations.
- Deliver training and support the sign off on competence of new starters.
- Working with other teams on initiatives and relationships to benefit both the department and Howden Health and Life.
- Take responsibility for own personal development in terms of understanding the business, regulation, and the insurance industry, acting in accordance with current regulatory procedures, keeping up to date with any changes and sharing this knowledge with colleagues.
- Leading by example, when required achieve own personal sales target.
- Any other adhoc tasks required by the business.
