PROTECTION SPECIALIST
Salary: £30,000 basic + uncapped commission
Location: Chorley - Fully Office Based
Hours: Mon-Thur (09:20-18:30) Fri (09:00-15:00)
Earning Potential: Top performers earning £75,000+
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Protection Specialist to join a growing insurance and mortgage brokerage based in Chorley. You'll benefit from a consistent flow of qualified leads, meaning there is no requirement to generate your own opportunities. You'll take customers through the full advised sales journey, understanding their circumstances and recommending suitable protection products.
What you'll be doing
- Managing a consistent flow of qualified customer leads
- Speaking with customers to understand their individual protection needs
- Providing tailored advice across life insurance, critical illness, and income protection
- Managing customers through the full advised sales process from initial conversation through to completion
- Building strong relationships and delivering a high standard of customer service
- Working towards individual sales and performance targets
- Maintaining accurate customer records and ensuring all advice meets compliance requirements
- Following up with customers and progressing applications efficiently
- Keeping your product and industry knowledge up to date through ongoing training
- Working closely with the wider team and sharing best practice

What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 year's experience within life insurance/protection sales
- Experience working within a target-driven sales environment
- A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Confident and engaging communication skills
- Strong ability to build rapport and understand customer needs
- Comfortable managing the full sales process and closing business
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- A customer-focused approach with an understanding of the importance of compliance
- Motivated by targets, commission, and earning potential
