We’re Hiring: Protective Services Development Manager!
📍 Location: Covering All Midlands
💰 Pay: c£60,475 + Car Allowance + Commission + Quarterly & Annual Bonus!
📅 Hours: Permanent | Full Time | 37.5 hours per week

At Securitas, we're transforming the future of security through innovation, technology, and exceptional client partnerships. We're looking for an ambitious Protective Services Development Manager to drive growth across the Midlands and surrounding areas.
This is the perfect opportunity for a commercially driven relationship-builder who thrives on growing existing accounts while identifying and winning new business opportunities. You'll take ownership of an established portfolio, building trusted client relationships, uncovering opportunities to enhance services, and delivering long-term value through strategic account management and cross-selling.
Working closely with local Branch Operations Managers, you'll also develop new business across your region, engaging decision-makers, understanding customer challenges, and creating tailored security solutions that make a real difference.
We're looking for someone who combines outstanding account management skills with the confidence and drive to open doors, create opportunities, and deliver results. If you're energized by building relationships, driving growth, and making a genuine impact, we'd love to hear from you. Although Security Knowledge is desirable, we are really looking for expertise cross industry.

Job Description
What you'll be doing:
- Drive Commercial Growth: Lead the development of new business opportunities and actively manage existing client portfolios to deliver year-on-year profitable growth.
- Account Management: Build deep relationships with clients, understand their business objectives, and deliver tailored security solutions that evolve with their needs.
- P&L Ownership: Share responsibility for branch financial performance, including revenue, margin, and profitability targets.
- Innovate and Transform: Identify opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and transform traditional services into intelligent, integrated solutions.
- Client Engagement: Conduct regular client reviews, KPI/SLA meetings, and strategic planning sessions to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitors, gather local market insights, and use data to inform commercial strategies and service improvements.
- Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with operations and commercial teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client retention.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Design and implement local commercial plans, lead price negotiations, and manage transformation pipelines.
- Risk-Based Evaluation: Continuously assess service provision and propose alternative models to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Customer Experience Excellence: Champion client-centricity by identifying solution gaps and driving innovation to meet evolving market needs.

Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Proven track record in a high-performing, client-facing sales or account management role.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust quickly through credibility, communication skills, and authenticity.
- Exceptional commercial awareness with experience in managing margins, forecasting, and business growth strategies.
- Ability to translate technical service offerings into clear, meaningful business benefits for clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to stakeholders.
- Client-centric mindset with a commitment to service excellence and long-term relationship building.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy pipeline and meet deadlines.
- Resilient, proactive, and solutions-focused approach with a positive bounce-back mindset.
- Experience working collaboratively across operational and commercial functions.
- Attention to detail with the ability to identify risks and drive continuous improvement.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a commercial environment. (desirable)
