We're looking for a Prototype Parts Stock Controller to join our Prototype Build Operations team in Wellesbourne. This is a hands-on role where your organisation, attention to detail and ability to keep things moving will play a vital part in supporting pre-production vehicle builds and prototype operations.
Responsibilities
- Managing and controlling prototype parts throughout the build process.
- Receiving deliveries and maintaining stock accuracy.
- Picking, packaging and preparing components for build activities.
- Working with barcode stock control systems, ERP systems and parts trackers.
- Ensuring that every part reaches the right location on time and without error.
- Supporting stock movements.
- Assisting with rework and containment activities.
- Occasionally traveling off-site to collect urgent components when required.

Requirements
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy matters.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Working alongside colleagues across different teams.
- Building positive relationships with suppliers, delivery partners and internal stakeholders.
- A proactive approach, flexibility and a genuine willingness to support the wider team.
- Previous stock control or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential; a willingness to learn is equally important.
- Confident using computers and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Comfortable maintaining accurate records and stock information.
- Experience working with stock management systems would be beneficial.
- A valid driving licence and forklift truck licence are essential.
