Role Overview

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Provisioning Specialist. Previous telecommunications or provisioning experience would be an advantage, but is not essential, as full training will be provided. We are seeking someone who is eager to learn, takes pride in their work, and enjoys ensuring that tasks are completed accurately and on time.

In this role, you will coordinate customer orders from initial sale through to installation, working closely with customers, suppliers, engineers, and internal teams to ensure a smooth and positive experience. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing multiple deadlines, processing orders, and keeping customers informed throughout their journey.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the confidence to communicate professionally by phone and email. They will be proactive, able to manage their own workload effectively, and comfortable working as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with company departments such as the sales teams and Accounts to ensure that customers are connected within appropriate timeframes.
  • Liaise with Gamma/ IPECS when processing new contracts and/or upgrades.
  • Log all cases on Salesforce and check details against internal systems.
  • Ensure all paperwork is correct at time of processing to ensure best customer experience.
  • Ensure all systems are updated and correct such as Salesforce, Gamma, IPECS.
  • Process all hardware and accessories requests.
  • Book customer installations into engineering diary and liaise with engineering team regarding installations.
  • Update customers regularly throughout each stage of customer installation, this will include regular calls, welcome, appointment, installation emails etc.
  • Escalate any issues i.e. customer queries or order related issues to the relevant team within the supplier/Barclay Team Leader.
  • All other reasonable duties i.e. updating of internal worksheets used to track orders/stock and responding to internal/external queries.

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Minimum of five GCSEs including Maths and English
  • At least one year’s administrative experience
