Clinical Fellows (Foundation Year 1)

NHS Grampian have opportunities for Clinical Fellows (Foundation Year 1) in General Medicine/General Surgery/Critical Care, Dr Gray’s Hospital, Elgin. These posts are available from August 2026 until August 2027.

Appointments to these posts do not have educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean and will not be recognised by the Deanery for training although they will provide excellent experience.

Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC is required. (licence to practise must be in place prior to starting in post). For more information visit

Dr Gray’s Hospital serves the Moray population of around 95,000, providing a wide range of acute and elective services supported by comprehensive diagnostic and clinical support teams. We are seeking enthusiastic candidates who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and helping shape the future of acute services in Moray.

Key Worker Housing Support

Moray Council are offering temporary accommodation for key workers moving to Moray to support recruitment in the public sector, including NHS roles. This opportunity is designed to help individuals who are unable to secure housing locally while starting their new job.

Applicants must be filling a public sector role such as NHS healthcare professionals eg Consultants, Nurses, Physiotherapists where local skills shortages exist.

You must be moving to Moray from outside the area and must be willing to accept a Short Scottish Secure Tenancy (SSST), which is a temporary housing arrangement.
