Overview
This is a training post for a Clinical Pharmacist at Band 6 during the training period under Annex 21 of the Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions, Section 2(ii). You will be moved to Band 7 after achieving all relevant qualifications and competencies. The expected timescales will be agreed and communicated in writing with your Line Manager.
Position and Location
Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist vacancy at Dr Gray’s Hospital, Elgin. Moray offers a coastal and highland setting with a high quality of life and access to outdoor activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical input to a wide range of specialties, including acute medicine, general surgery, and orthopaedics.
- Work within a team to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care and develop clinical skills in a variety of settings.
- Contribute to the Pharmacy Department’s learning environment and work towards completing the Royal College of Pharmacy Advanced Portfolio.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support safe and effective patient care on a day-to-day basis.

Requirements
- Full registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPC) is required.
- Full registration and eligibility to practice in the UK.
