The post will be based within the General Surgery Department at Dr Gray’s Hospital, Elgin, covering Orthopaedics as well as out of hours.

This post does not have educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean and will not be recognised for training.
Requirements
- Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC is required. (licence to practise must be in place prior to starting in post). For more information visit www.gmc-uk.org

Key Worker Housing Support
Moray Council are offering temporary accommodation for key workers moving to Moray to support recruitment in the public sector, including NHS roles. This opportunity is designed to help individuals who are unable to secure housing locally while starting their new job.
Applicants must be filling a public sector role such as NHS healthcare professionals eg Consultants, Nurses, Physiotherapists where local skills shortages exist.

You must be moving to Moray from outside the area and must be willing to accept a Short Scottish Secure Tenancy (SSST), which is a temporary housing arrangement.
Key worker points will be awarded based on employer confirmation of recruitment need, and housing will be provided for a minimum of six months, with the possibility of extension up to 12 months. This accommodation option allows applicants time to secure permanent housing while addressing local recruitment challenges.
