PSP Financial Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a PSP Financial Analyst based in the United Kingdom.

This role focuses on financial control and operational oversight across payment service providers, combining reconciliation, liquidity management, and financial analysis. You’ll monitor payment flows, balances, settlements, and provider costs to help maintain accurate and efficient financial operations. The position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and drive issues through to resolution. You’ll work closely with external payment providers and internal stakeholders while ensuring agreed commercial and operational terms are followed. Your analysis will also support recommendations for reducing payment costs and improving processes. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently in a data-driven, international environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage day-to-day communication and relationships with payment service providers, ensuring agreed commercial and operational terms are followed.
  • Monitor balances across payment systems and maintain sufficient liquidity for payouts and settlements.
  • Prepare and control settlement requests, player payouts, and company withdrawals.
  • Reconcile transaction turnover, balances, settlement reports, provider statements, and other payment-related financial data.
  • Investigate financial discrepancies, identify root causes, and coordinate with payment providers and internal teams until issues are fully resolved.
  • Monitor provider fees, costs, exchange rates, rolling reserves, commissions, and contractual terms.
  • Analyze payment service provider performance and identify opportunities to optimize costs and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation covering payment procedures, reconciliation processes, and related financial controls.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
