Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site PSV Coach Driver role based in Ilford. The PSV Coach Driver will operate coaches and minibuses safely and professionally on scheduled routes and private hire journeys, including airport transfers, corporate events, school runs, and group travel.

Daily responsibilities include:

- Performing pre-trip vehicle checks
- Maintaining cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
- Reporting any defects or incidents promptly
The role involves providing courteous, customer-focused service, assisting passengers as needed, and ensuring timely pick-ups and drop-offs in line with journey plans.
The driver will also:
- Complete necessary documentation
- Comply with all road traffic and company regulations
- Collaborate with the operations team to manage schedules and routes
Qualifications
- Valid PSV (Passenger Service Vehicle) or PCV licence, with a clean driving record and relevant professional driving experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK road safety regulations, highway codes, and practical familiarity with London and surrounding routes.
- Customer service skills, including clear communication, a professional manner, and the ability to support passengers of different ages and needs.
- Reliability and time management skills, with the ability to follow schedules, adapt to changing plans, and work early mornings, evenings, and weekends when required.
- Basic vehicle care skills, including conducting safety checks, identifying issues, and coordinating with maintenance teams.
- Right to work in the UK; previous experience in coach, minibus, or shuttle driving is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively without constant supervision and collaborate with dispatch and operations staff.
