Position: Psychiatry Expert
Type: Hourly Contract
Compensation: $150/hour
Location: Remote
About the Opportunity
This opportunity is for Board-Certified Psychiatrists to contribute to advanced AI research and evaluation projects with a leading AI lab. You'll apply your clinical expertise to evaluate how large language models reason through complex psychiatric cases, develop expert-level diagnostic challenges, and provide authoritative, gold-standard answers with clear clinical reasoning.
Responsibilities
- Develop advanced psychiatric cases that challenge current AI models.
- Create gold-standard answers with clear clinical reasoning and diagnostic judgment.
- Evaluate complex differentials, edge cases, and psychiatric risk assessment.
- Identify and provide feedback on common AI reasoning failure modes.
- Collaborate directly with AI research teams.

Required Qualifications
- Completed psychiatry residency through ACGME, AOA, or a national equivalent.
- MD or DO degree; international medical degrees qualify.
- Active board certification in psychiatry through ABPN, FRCPC, MRCPsych, FRANZCP, or recognized national equivalent.
- Active, unrestricted medical license with no suspension, revocation, or open disciplinary action.
- 3+ years of independent psychiatric practice after residency.
- Current or recent practice in an accredited or government-licensed clinical setting.
- Based in the US, UK, Europe, or Australia; US preferred.

- 10+ hours/week of current direct patient care.
- Psychiatry subspecialty expertise in Addiction, Child/Adolescent, Forensic, Geriatric, or Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry.
- OSCE development or examiner experience.
- Current or recent psychiatry faculty appointment.
Compensation
- Competitive compensation of $150/hour.
- Hourly contract engagement.
- Fully remote opportunity.
