Job Description: Shire Healthcare are recruiting for an Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to work with children and young people who have complex emotional and behavioural needs across homes around West Sussex and Hampshire.
50/50 WFH/Travel
About the employer: The candidate appointed will be joining a leading provider of therapeutic care and education for children and young people (ages 11-18) who present with complex emotional and behavioural needs and some with mild learning difficulties. This can include eating disorders, offending behaviour, substance abuse and sexual exploitation and harmful behaviour.
Role snapshot: The post holder will be working from home and where required will be travelling various services between Southampton and Crawley. The successful candidate will be line managing an Assistant Psychologist and a therapist. They will be providing consultation and guidance to the MDT.

- Contract Type - permanent
- Hours – 4-5 days per week.
- Salary - up to £63,000 FTE
Experience required: Candidates applying will have HCPC registration as an Forensic, Clinical or Counselling Psychologist and experience working with children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs either during doctoral training or post qualifying.
