Employment Type: Full Time or Part Time (Parental Leave backfill), Temporary 6 - 12 months with possibility of extension and or permanency
Classification:
- Psychologist level 3 (PN 46867, 25676)
- Psychologist level 4 - Paediatric Clinical Lead (PN 48430)
Note: Appointment to each classification will be dependent on qualifications and experience, in line with the Enterprise Agreement.
P3 Salary: $123,014 - $133,492 (Plus 12.5% Super)
P4 Salary: $135,771 - $142,688 (Plus 12.5% Super)
Location: The Canberra Hospital and various CHS locations, ACT

About the Role:
Exciting Opportunities for Senior Psychologists – Acute Allied Health Services – Canberra Hospital
We have exciting opportunities for experienced Psychologists to join our friendly and supportive Psychology team. Our psychologists are based at both the Canberra Hospital and Centenary Hospital for Women and Children. Our team delivers psychological assessment and intervention to people across the lifespan, including children, adolescents and adults, across a range of inpatient and outpatient hospital settings.
In these rewarding roles you will work closely with allied health, medical and nursing colleagues to achieve optimal health and wellbeing outcomes for those people you support. You will also be part of an experienced psychology team made up of registered psychologists, neuropsychologists, clinical psychologists and health psychologists. In these roles you will have the opportunity to provide supervision to psychologists and/or students on placement.

These positions may be filled by an appropriately qualified Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist or Health Psychologist.
We are committed to supporting our psychologists through regular clinical supervision, professional development opportunities, and research activities. We are seeking psychologists with demonstrated leadership capability who will contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Please Note
- These roles will be filled at Psychologist Level 3 or 4, depending on qualifications and experience, in line with the Enterprise Agreement.
- The Level 4 position is for a Paediatric Clinical Lead requiring a psychologist with experience working with young people.
- We welcome applications from candidates seeking part-time roles in line with specific flexible working requirements under the Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement (please state any specific requirements for part-time work in your application).
- A merit pool may be established from this recruitment process and will remain valid for 12 months. This pool may be used to fill similar roles and future vacant positions at the same level across CHS.

- Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
