Your Role as a Psychology Graduate
As a Psychology Graduate, you will provide dedicated support to a Year 1 child with autism (ASD), ADHD and challenging behaviour, while also gaining experience within the school's autism provision.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Psychology Graduate | Full-Time, Term Time Only
- Immediate start July 2027
- £460+ per week PAYE
- Providing 1:1 support to a Year 1 child with ASD, ADHD and challenging behaviour
- Developing and maintaining a positive, trusting relationship with the child
- Working 1:1 and in small groups with pupils with SEND
- Using a child-centred and consistent approach to support individual needs
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a Psychology Graduate who is genuinely passionate about working with children and wants to develop their understanding of SEND.

You will ideally have:
- A Psychology degree, ideally 2:1 or above
- Previous child-centred experience
- Experience tutoring, mentoring, coaching, volunteering in a school or working as a Teaching Assistant is highly desirable
- A genuine interest in SEND, autism, ADHD and child development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, resilience and a calm approach
- The ability to build positive relationships with children
