Quokka Education is recruiting Psychology graduates to work as SEN Teaching Assistants in mainstream secondary and specialist SEND schools in Basingstoke.
No classroom experience? No problem. We'll provide the training, CPD and practical toolkits to give you the confidence to succeed from day one.
These are full-time roles starting in September, making them ideal for graduates considering careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Teaching, Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Mental Health.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting students with additional needs in the classroom.
- Building positive relationships with young people.
- Helping students overcome barriers to learning.
- Supporting emotional regulation, behaviour and wellbeing.
- Working alongside experienced teachers and SEND professionals.
