As a Psychology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant in Chesham, you will work closely with pupils who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), speech and language needs, and other additional learning requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver targeted in-class and one-to-one support for pupils with ASD and additional needs.
- Assist teachers in preparing engaging lessons and differentiated learning resources.
- Promote a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to support engagement and wellbeing.

- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and wider school staff.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Psychology or a related discipline.
- Genuine interest in Special Educational Needs and child development.
- Previous experience working with children or within an SEN setting is advantageous.
- Understanding of ASD and speech & language needs is desirable.
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, proactive, and adaptable attitude.
- Passion for making a positive difference in young people's lives.
