About the Role

Our client, a leading organisation in the field of mental health and wellbeing, is seeking a talented Psychology Graduate to join our team in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne & Wear. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to gain valuable experience and contribute to our mission of promoting positive mental health in the community.

As a Psychology Graduate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team of experienced clinicians and researchers. Based in our modern offices in the heart of Newcastle, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including clinical assessments, research studies, and the development of innovative mental health interventions.

  • Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and developing individualised treatment plans for clients
  • Assisting with the design and implementation of research studies, including data collection, analysis, and the preparation of reports
  • Delivering evidence-based interventions, such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and psychoeducational workshops
  • Maintaining detailed records and ensuring the confidentiality of client information
  • Participating in regular team meetings and professional development activities to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recently completed degree in Psychology, with a strong academic record
  • A genuine passion for mental health and a commitment to improving the wellbeing of individuals and communities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with clients and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions
  • Proficiency in using a range of psychological assessment tools and therapeutic techniques
  • Familiarity with ethical guidelines and regulations governing the practice of psychology
  • A willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges as they arise
