Psychology Teacher – Essex | January 2026 Start | Permanent, Full-Time
Quantum Scholars are working with a progressive secondary school in Essex seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Psychology Teacher to join their team from January 2026.
This permanent, full-time role presents an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven educator to make a meaningful contribution to a well-resourced and supportive department. You’ll be teaching Psychology across Key Stages 4 and 5, with plenty of scope to develop your practice and grow within an experienced, collaborative team.

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Psychology lessons across KS4-5
- Inspire students to think critically and develop a lasting interest in human behaviour
- Take an active role in curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental initiatives
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that enables all students to thrive
- Work closely with colleagues to share ideas and contribute to departmental goals
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for Psychology
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for motivating and supporting students to achieve their best
