Job Opportunity: Chef De Partie

Due to relocation, an opportunity has arisen for a motivated Chef De Partie, working between the hotel events and weddings while also working in our busy pub on a day-to-day basis.

You will work with a supportive team that supports each other in a culture of kindness and calm.

Shifts can vary but generally run from 11 am until 9.30 pm, 5 days per week.

Due to the location, own transport is essential as live-in is very limited.

  • Cooking & preparing food to a high standard.
  • Ensuring best food hygiene practice is always employed in line with company policy and EHO recommendations. Follow the correct procedure for allergens management and preventing cross-contamination at all times.
  • Ensuring the kitchen is always a clean, tidy, and safe environment to work in.
  • Checking off food against delivery notes and storing appropriately. Completing checklists and kitchen temperature checks in a timely manner.
  • Customer Service: ensuring guests' requirements are met, i.e., vegetarian, dietary requirements, etc. Communicate effectively with the Restaurant/Front of House teams.
  • Training kitchen porters and trainee chefs.
  • Ensuring general Health & Safety procedures are followed.
  • Assisting in the smooth running of the kitchen at all times.
  • Any other reasonable requests within the post-holder's capabilities as and when requested by the Head Chef.
