Pub Cook Wanted
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pub Cook to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will be the heart of our kitchen, preparing delicious meals and ensuring every dish meets our high standards of quality and food safety. Your enthusiasm for culinary arts and commitment to excellent food preparation will help create a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.
This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your cooking skills in a lively pub environment, contributing to memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pub-style dishes, including appetizers, mains, and sides, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate
- Follow established recipes and food safety guidelines to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Assist with meal preparation during busy hours, managing multiple orders efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Maintain organized workstations, ensuring all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and ready for use
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations
- Support the serving staff by providing freshly prepared dishes promptly and accurately
- Adhere to all health regulations and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests

Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or pub setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- Excellent attention to detail in meal presentation and ingredient handling
- Prior kitchen or culinary experience preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is valued
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
