Public Affairs Officer

If you can turn a Select Committee report into a line a Minister remembers, we want to hear from you.

Westminster Search is building a talent pool of strong Public Affairs Officers for our clients across charities, membership bodies and agencies. We are not recruiting for one role — we are getting ahead of the next ten. Join the pool now, and we will match you to a live vacancy the moment it fits.

Why register with this talent pool

  • You are matched to relevant roles before they are advertised publicly.
  • One conversation with us saves you dozens of applications to individual employers.
  • We know the public affairs market in detail, and we only put you forward for roles that suit your experience and ambitions.
  • You hear about opportunities first, from a consultant who has placed public affairs professionals for years.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
