Duties and Responsibilities Related to the Housekeeping Public Area Attendant - Flexi Hours Role

• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards across all public areas, ensuring a welcoming and polished environment for guests and colleagues at all times.
• Carry out routine and deep-cleaning tasks in lobbies, corridors, restrooms, meeting spaces and back-of-house areas, addressing issues proactively and efficiently.
• Monitor the condition of public-area furnishings, fixtures and equipment, reporting maintenance needs promptly to support a safe and well-maintained hotel environment.
• Support guest experience by responding to public-area cleaning requests and ensuring all spaces remain tidy, stocked and ready for use throughout the day.
• Uphold hotel policies by correctly handling lost property, following health and safety procedures and maintaining compliance with fire and security standards.
• Ensure all cleaning tools, machinery and supplies are used safely, stored correctly and kept in good working order.
• Collaborate with other departments, including F&B and Guest Services, to maintain shared spaces and contribute to a seamless guest journey.
• Assist with special cleaning projects, seasonal tasks or operational needs such as linen support, ensuring flexibility and teamwork across the department.
