Help create healthier, stronger communities across Worcestershire

Are you passionate about community development, reducing health inequalities and working alongside residents to create lasting change?

Worcestershire Public Health is recruiting two Public Health Practitioners to support our growing programme of Priority Neighbourhood Development and place-based working. These exciting permanent roles offer the opportunity to work directly with communities, partners and local organisations to improve health and wellbeing outcomes in some of Worcestershire's most disadvantaged neighbourhoods.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who believe in the strengths and assets within communities and who can help residents, local organisations and partners work together to address local priorities and create healthier places to live, work and thrive.

About The Role

Working closely with residents, voluntary and community organisations, statutory partners and local stakeholders, you will help develop sustainable community-led approaches that improve wellbeing and tackle the causes of poor health.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
