Job Summary

Our client is progressing a ~15km underground water pipeline from Oldbury (near Nuneaton, North Warwickshire) to Meriden (near Coventry, on the Solihull border). The route runs predominantly through arable and grassland farmland, though some local road closures will be required.

A Public Liaison Officer is required to welcome visitors and contractors to site and ensure they are inducted correctly, with site orientation (H&S brief) and correct PPE worn. The core role is stakeholder management: liaising with residents, landowners and Parish Councils to raise awareness of the project, supporting the site team with enquiries, and community engagement with interested groups such as Public Rights of Way.

The Public Liaison Officer (PLO) will work collaboratively with partners to ensure positive project messages are understood by all local stakeholders, including local businesses, road users, residents and the wider public, whilst always upholding the reputation of the client.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
