Public Policy Manager — MENA
9-month contract | minimum of £42,000–£47,000 per annum pro rata | Fully remote, UK | Potential extension
Our client is looking for a Public Policy Manager to join its MENA Policy team, working at the intersection of technology, regulation, trust & safety and regional policy.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can spot emerging risks, navigate complex stakeholder issues and make sure the right people are engaged at the right time. You’ll cover markets across the Middle East and North Africa, with a particular focus on online safety, fraud, scams, hacking and regulatory developments.

What you’ll do
- Monitor MENA policy and regulatory developments and emerging online risks.
- Triage and manage escalations from regional policy stakeholders and external partners.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve content, account and access issues.
- Identify the right internal stakeholders and proactively drive cases through to resolution.
- Track trends and flag emerging risks to the wider Policy team.
- Support team operations, including contracts, invoicing, budgets and regional events.
- Manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What we’re looking for

- Fluent Arabic and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- 1–2+ years’ experience in policy, operations, technology, government or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of MENA’s political, cultural and policy landscape.
- Excellent research, organisation, project management and stakeholder skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, handle sensitive issues and meet tight deadlines.
- Genuine interest in technology, innovation, regulation and online safety.
Nice to have: experience in tech operations, content moderation, AI or working with government stakeholders.
