About Talacom
Talacom is an employee-owned group of communications agencies, bringing together TALA and Elan. From our Oxfordshire base, we work with ambitious organisations in specialist sectors including automotive, life sciences, healthcare, packaging, manufacturing, innovative materials and visitor attractions.
In 2026, we became a PRWeek Top 150 agency, ranked 130th, with a strong reputation as a leader in B2B communications. For the people who join us, that means the chance to build a career across genuinely interesting briefs, combining strategic thinking, creativity and sector knowledge in work that has real-world impact.
Our teams support a wide range of respected brands and organisations, from Sunstar, Dunlop, HARMAN, Besins Healthcare to ZF and the Royal British Legion. It is a place for people who want variety, responsibility and room to grow: an employee-owned business with high standards, a supportive culture and the opportunity to do smart, purposeful work for clients and sectors that matter.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
