PR Account Executive
About The Beam Room and Opportunity
“Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference”
We are not your typical PR Agency. We are results focused, sharp and deeply embedded in the world of premium health, wellness and lifestyle. Our clients are Founders, Entrepreneurs and Innovators building category-redefining brands, and you will be working directly with them from day one. We believe business should be a force for good, and we donate £1 for every piece of coverage we generate to our charity partner, Refuge.
This is a new role in our vibrant team, and a unique opportunity to fast-track your career in a dynamic Agency, with structured support from a fantastic team of Directors and one of the most respected PR Agency Founders in the industry.
What's the role?
We are looking for a driven, curious, media-savvy Account Executive who loves the thrill of landing coverage, impressing clients and going the extra mile. You will be proactive, highly organised and take real pride in your work. A strong writer, you will help bring stories, innovation, research and studies to life. This role would suit a recent graduate with agency or marketing internship experience, or an existing PR Account Executive looking to change sector or media focus.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
