Account Executive
leepeckmedia is an independent PR agency based in Chilworth and we're looking for an Account Executive to join the team.
We work with ambitious organisations in sectors including EV charging, renewable energy, housebuilding and technology. We help them tell their stories to the media, their stakeholders and the communities they serve.
In our team, everyone matters. You'll work closely with colleagues and clients from day one, and your ideas will be heard.
This is a hands-on role with plenty of client contact, supporting the delivery of PR campaigns across our accounts. You'll be doing:
- Writing press releases, features, articles, social content and client reports.
- Building relationships with journalists, pitching stories and securing coverage.
- Keeping across the news agenda and industry trends, and spotting opportunities for clients.
- Supporting account leads with day-to-day client management, from calls and meetings to status updates.
- Monitoring, tracking and reporting on coverage and campaign results.
- Helping to plan and run events, photoshoots and campaign activity.
- Bringing fresh ideas to brainstorms and new business pitches.

About you
You might be a junior exec ready to step up, or an established exec looking for a new challenge. Either way, in a team like ours, personality matters almost as much as experience.
What you'll need:
- PR experience, whether agency-side or in-house.
- Strong writing skills: clear, accurate and able to adapt to different audiences.
- A diligent, organised approach, and the ability to juggle several clients and deadlines at once.
- Natural curiosity and a knack for joining the dots, whether that's spotting the story in a client's news or linking it to what's happening in the wider world.

- Marketing experience, such as content, digital or social.

The details
- Salary: Circa £30,000, depending on experience.
- Location: Southampton Science Park, Chilworth, Southampton.
- Working pattern: Hybrid, with three days in the office and two from home.
