Stone Junction is a technical PR consultancy that delivers international PR results for clients around the world, with a clear focus on changing minds and how companies market themselves. The team of over 30 PR, STEM, and marketing professionals includes many specialists with advanced STEM degrees and in-house language capabilities to support global campaigns.

Stone Junction provides bespoke media relations and integrated communications services, including PR, copywriting, email marketing, social media, SEO, design, photography, videography, and branding consultancy, for businesses of all sizes. The consultancy is recognized by professional bodies such as CIPR and PRCA and has won more than 40 awards since 2006, including multiple accolades for STEM PR.

Joining Stone Junction means working in a results-driven environment with an expanding international client base across the UK, US, and global markets.

Role Description

The Account Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in Stafford, with flexibility to work from home part of the week. In this position, the Account Manager oversees day-to-day client relationships, plans and delivers PR and marketing campaigns, and ensures that activities align with client objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong client relationship management skills, including account handling, stakeholder communication, and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, compelling messages.
  • Experience planning and executing PR and marketing campaigns, including media relations, content planning, and coordination across channels such as trade press, online platforms, and social media.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with proven experience in copywriting, editing, and creating content tailored to different audiences and formats.
  • Solid organizational and project management skills, including managing multiple accounts, prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working with data and digital tools, including basic understanding of SEO, email marketing platforms, and campaign performance reporting and analysis.
  • Relevant experience in PR, communications, marketing, or a related field; agency experience and familiarity with technical or STEM-focused sectors are advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, showing initiative, accountability, and professionalism both in the office and when working remotely.
