About the Role

We're looking for an Account Manager to join an established PR/communications agency with an excellent reputation for delivering impactful PR, communications, and social media campaigns. This Account Manager opportunity would suit someone looking to take the next step in their agency career within a supportive and ambitious environment.

Responsibilities

Working alongside experienced communications professionals, the Account Manager will take ownership of client accounts, delivering integrated PR, communications, and social media campaigns that help organisations build stronger reputations, engage key audiences, and create meaningful connections. For the right person, there is a clear and achievable progression route into a Senior Account Manager position within 12 months.

Key Duties

  • Day-to-Day Management: Take ownership of the day-to-day management and delivery of client campaigns across both consumer and B2B accounts.
  • Client Relationships: Build strong client relationships, lead campaign delivery, develop PR strategies, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to an exceptionally high standard.
  • Content Creation: Create engaging content, develop media materials, build relationships with journalists and influencers, and secure meaningful coverage that delivers against client objectives.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee the planning, creation, and evaluation of content across a range of social platforms, working closely with clients to support their wider communications strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and bring fresh, creative ideas that drive engagement and results.
  • Agency Growth: Contribute ideas for agency growth, identify new opportunities, and play an active role in raising the agency's profile within its business and community networks.
  • Team Support: Support and mentor more junior team members, helping them continue to develop their skills.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
