About Twisted Logic

Twisted Logic was established around 18 months ago by Rachel Barker. Rachel comes from a strong background in the PR space, with ~20 years experience under her belt. The business has grown rapidly since then, more than Rachel could have imagined! As such, we are looking to appoint a PR Account Manager into a very exciting opportunity to work closely with Rachel as her number 2.

Twisted Logic is an up and coming, independent communications agency working across PR, communications, stakeholder engagement and community-focused projects. Clients lie particularly within the construction and property space but they also have a roster of clients across the NHS, educational projects and various Public Sector organisations.

The next step is to bring someone into the business who can take ownership of that day-to-day client and account management and become a trusted second pair of hands and help shape the next stage of Twisted Logic's growth.

The Role

This isn't a traditional Account Manager role where you'll simply manage a list of accounts within a big agency structure. You'll be joining a small, growing business and will have the opportunity to become a key part of it. This is the perfect role for somebody who may be in a Senior PR Account Executive role and ready to take the next step, or somebody already at PR Account Manager level who knows they have a lot to give to the right business.

Over time, the aim is for you to become the founder's number two. Someone she can genuinely rely on to take ownership, make decisions and keep things moving when she's out networking, developing new business or simply needs to step away from the detail.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll also have the opportunity to help shape how the agency operates as it grows.

Due to the size of the role, we are looking for somebody who wants to really excel their career and is confident speaking and dealing with clients as well as taking ownership of decision making when needed. You will be trusted to carry out your own workload, so somebody who can demonstrate being independent in their work is paramount.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing day-to-day relationships with a portfolio of clients
  • Taking ownership of projects from brief through to delivery (with the support of Rachel)
  • Handling stakeholder engagement and communications programmes on behalf of clients including organising and attending stakeholder and community meetings, briefings and engagement events
  • Writing and reviewing client communications and content
  • Helping prepare for and lead client meetings
  • Speaking confidently with clients and stakeholders
  • Keeping projects organised, on track and within agreed budgets
  • Spotting issues before they become problems and taking ownership of resolving them
  • Supporting the founder with the wider running and development of the agency
  • Contributing ideas around new business, client development and future opportunities

Who we're looking for

We're looking for someone with around 2+ years' experience in an agency, communications, PR, marketing or a similar client-facing environment. Although not required, somebody who may have experience or a genuine interest in the type of industries Twisted Logic works with, would be preferable.

More importantly, we're looking for someone who wants to grow with a business, rather than simply take the next step on a traditional agency career ladder.

You'll probably be someone who:

  • Is ambitious and wants to take on more responsibility
  • Is comfortable working in a small business where things aren't always perfectly defined
  • Is confident dealing directly with clients and stakeholders
  • Is a strong writer and communicator
  • Is comfortable speaking in front of people
  • Can manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Can work independently but knows when to ask for help
  • Is commercially minded and interested in how a business grows
  • Wants the opportunity to have a genuine impact on a growing agency

Personality matters

This is a small business, so personality fit really matters.

You don't need to take yourself too seriously. You should be someone who can have a laugh, build genuine relationships and enjoy working closely with the people around you.

You need to be comfortable rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in; one day you might be leading a client meeting, the next you might be deep in the detail of a project making sure everything is ready to go.

The unofficial rule is simple:

Don't be a d*ck.

If you're ambitious, capable, curious and good with people, we want to speak to you!
