Job Description: PR Account Manager

Our client is an award-winning integrated independent marketing agency that operates at the intersection of culture, talent, and partnerships.

Working with leading brands across Sports, Food & Beverage, Luxury, Lifestyle, Activewear, and Leisurewear, we are looking for a commercially-minded PR Account Manager who will own senior client relationships and be responsible for delivering culturally-relevant and sharp marketing campaigns. This is an opportunity to work with all multi-disciplinary teams within the agency to provide strategic brand input, activate relevant and engaging partnerships, drive operational excellence, and position the agency as the strategic partner of choice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for your clients, understanding their business and sector to be able to shape relevant campaigns and comms strategies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Journalists, Editors, Influencers, and key industry stakeholders to provide added value and campaign success for your clients
  • Lead media outreach, including pitching and engagement, to secure high-quality coverage and opportunities for clients
  • Work with the leadership team to unlock areas of account growth, upselling, and cross-selling services to positively position your client’s business
  • Be the voice of your clients within the agency, providing strategic guidance and leading the planning, delivery, and optimization of multi-channel PR campaigns (including press office, influencer programs, social media, and events)
  • Operate as a Project Manager ensuring campaigns meet objectives, deadlines, and budgets, thinking ahead at all times and mitigating risk
  • Oversee account budgets, track spends, and approve supplier, talent, and vendor contracts in line with requirements
  • Creatively input into campaigns, using your experience and knowledge of what works to think of new media angles to enhance client campaigns
  • Line manage and mentor junior members of the team, as well as influence at a senior leadership level

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
