About The Role
A leading London-based architecture and exhibition design studio is looking for a PR & Marketing Manager to join its team on a part-time basis, working 2 days per week.
Working closely with the Directors, you will lead project PR, media outreach, awards, website content and social media. This role would suit a strong writer with an interest in architecture, design, museums and the cultural sector, and at least 2 years’ experience in PR, marketing, or communications within the creative industries.
This is a particularly exciting opportunity for a writer looking to build their experience within an award-winning architecture practice, and gain exposure to a varied portfolio of high-profile projects. The two-day structure could also work particularly well for a freelancer or consultant looking to establish a regular, ongoing stream of interesting work alongside their existing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead PR outreach for the practice’s architecture, exhibition and design projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors and relevant media contacts across the architecture, design, museum and cultural sectors.
- Identify opportunities to raise the profile of the studio, its directors and its work within relevant national and international media.
- Coordinate and prepare interviews with the Directors, including researching opportunities, preparing briefing materials and supporting the interview process.
- Draft sophisticated, engaging and sector-specific press releases, features, articles and other written content.
- Identify and develop editorial opportunities that showcase the practice’s expertise and projects.
- Manage the studio’s annual awards calendar, including researching suitable awards, preparing submissions and coordinating deadlines and materials.
- Create and edit copy for the studio’s website.
- Support and develop the studio’s social media presence, with a focus on increasing engagement and growing its audience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
