Role Description
The Public Relations Communications Specialist is a part-time hybrid role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for some work from home. This role focuses on planning, drafting, and distributing press releases and media-facing content that clearly communicates Nebula’s work with technical and specialist clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing media relations, identifying relevant outlets and journalists, pitching stories, and coordinating interviews or features. The specialist will develop strategic communications plans, support brand messaging across multiple channels, and ensure consistency of tone and positioning. Additional tasks may include monitoring media coverage, preparing reports, supporting crisis or issue communications, and collaborating closely with marketing and client teams to align PR activity with broader business goals.

Qualifications

- Ability to create and manage press releases and other PR materials, demonstrating strong skills in Press Releases and Public Relations.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers, with proven Media Relations skills.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication tailored to technical and specialist audiences.
- Capability to design and implement Strategic Communications plans that align PR activity with marketing and business objectives.
- Prior experience in B2B, technical, or professional services environments is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects in a part-time, hybrid setting.
- Comfort working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and independently when needed.
- Relevant education or training in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
