Role Description
The Public Relations Communications Specialist at Future Human Resonance Architecture (FHRA) is responsible for developing and executing PR initiatives that support the organization’s brand, projects, and strategic objectives. This contract, remote role involves drafting press releases, preparing media briefs, and coordinating announcements across digital and traditional channels. The specialist will manage day-to-day media outreach, respond to inquiries, and maintain relationships with journalists, partners, and stakeholders. The role includes monitoring coverage, tracking PR metrics, and providing concise reports and recommendations to leadership. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging, support thought leadership opportunities, and help prepare talking points, speeches, and presentations as needed.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability to create clear, compelling press releases and related PR materials.
- Experience in media relations, including outreach, pitching, and relationship management with journalists and outlets.
- Background in public relations strategy, including campaign planning and reputation management.
- Strong communication and strategic communications skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail and tone consistency.
- Experience working remotely, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a contract setting.
- Familiarity with PR analytics, monitoring tools, and social media platforms for amplifying communications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in technology, architecture, innovation, or future-focused organizations is beneficial.
