Role Description
The Public Relations Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. This intern will assist in developing and executing PR initiatives that raise awareness of OpenApply’s mission, services, and success stories. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting press materials, supporting media outreach, monitoring media coverage, and helping manage communication channels. The intern will collaborate with internal teams to align messaging with strategic objectives, contribute to content for digital platforms, and help prepare briefing documents and talking points. The role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, outcomes-driven environment, working closely with senior team members on real PR campaigns.

- Strong foundation in Public Relations and Media Relations, with the ability to support external communication efforts.
- Ability to draft and refine Press Releases and related PR materials with clarity and accuracy.
- Excellent Communication skills, including written and verbal, suitable for diverse audiences.
- Understanding of Strategic Communications and interest in aligning messaging with organizational goals.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working on-site in the London Area and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, content creation, and basic analytics tools is a plus.
