The Client: Prestigious London Gallery

This prestigious London art gallery collaborates with esteemed private collectors and renowned museums across the globe to exhibit culturally important antiquities and pieces of natural history. The management team are leading voices and thought leaders in the art world to ensure important pieces are preserved for the future and enjoyed by the public.

The Role: Marketing & PR Manager

Working onsite directly with the gallery management team, this rare opportunity will partner with the senior leadership team. This role will lead PR & media activities to:

  • Create marketing strategies for art fairs, key artworks, exhibitions, and special projects with a goal of raising awareness of the brand, reaching potential clients.
  • Develop PR strategies to define the brand and maximise exposure in targeted luxury lifestyle, arts and culture outlets such as the FT, How to Spend It, The Art Newspaper, and NY Times.
  • Create social media content, manage social channels, and ensure website content is optimised for SEO.
  • Drive brand recognition through all communications activities including marketing, media, advertising, partnerships, collaborations, presence at art fairs, and public speaking opportunities.

The Role Will Suit Candidates Who Have:

  • Marketing & Public Relations experience in the art, culture, or luxury goods industry.
  • Excellent strategic planning abilities.
  • A press and media network within the arts & culture sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in central London 5 days a week.

Salary & Benefits Include:

  • Suggested salary of c.£40-45k depending on experience.
  • 25 days holidays.
  • Nest pension.
  • 5 days on site at the gallery and working with a tight-knit team.
