Orange is an independent consumer PR agency working with leading food, drink and lifestyle brands - challengers making noise, and heritage names with long histories to draw on.
We're looking for a Senior Account Manager to take full ownership of a portfolio of those accounts.
The role
This is media relations at its core, with the campaign work that surrounds it. You'll run your accounts autonomously. Day to day, you'll:
- Own the client relationships on your accounts - the trusted day-to-day contact they call first, and the one who steers the conversation when something needs steering
- Lead campaigns from the first idea through to the final report: creative thinking, activations, events and influencer collaborations as well as the press office and collating reviews
- Drive media relations and land coverage that matters - finding the angle, writing the pitch, selling it in and chasing it down - and oversee influencer sourcing alongside it
- Keep delivery on track: budgets, timelines, weekly actions, status reports and the client servicing that goes with a good relationship
- Mentor and manage the junior team
- Spot where existing accounts could grow, and pitch for new business alongside the founder and Account Director

What you'll need
You must come from a PR agency background. At least four years in consumer PR, currently at Account Manager level or above, ideally with food and drink, FMCG or lifestyle brands behind you.
- A strong media relations record and coverage you're proud of
- Experience of campaigns that reach beyond the press office - activations, events, the kind of idea that earns attention rather than asks for it
- Proven ability to run client relationships and lead projects without supervision; client servicing is central to this role, not an add-on
- Commercial instinct - you notice where an account could grow, and you say so

Full time or part time considered, minimum three days a week, based at Layer Marney Tower. You'll need your own transport. Holiday is pro-rated for part-time hours.

Pay: £38,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
