The key skills we need include

  • Experience in public relations, communications, or a related field (3+ years).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories for diverse audiences.
  • Experience working with grant funding organisations, corporate CSR programs, or media relations.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Passion for wildlife conservation and alignment with Tigers4Ever’s mission.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
  • Familiarity with digital PR tools (e.g., media databases, social media platforms, or email marketing tools) is a plus.

What will you be doing?

We seek a passionate and experienced Public Relations Volunteer to join our team. This role will support our Fundraising Trustees by driving strategic communications with grant funding organisations, corporate social responsibility (CSR) partners, and media outlets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public relations, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to wildlife conservation.

Grant Funding Communications

  • Develop compelling narratives, proposals, and reports to engage grant funding organisations.
  • Support timely and professional communication with funders, aligning with Tigers4Ever’s mission and goals.

Corporate and Charitable Program Engagement

  • Craft tailored pitches and presentations to attract Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partnerships.
  • Highlight the impact of corporate contributions to tiger conservation efforts in Bandhavgarh.
  • Convey Tigers4Ever mission, objectives, and successes to potential project partners in the University and Charity sectors.

Press and Media Publicity

  • Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and other materials to promote Tigers4Ever’s mission and campaigns.
  • Build relationships with journalists, bloggers, and media outlets to increase visibility.
  • Coordinate media opportunities, including interviews, features, and coverage of fundraising events or conservation milestones.

Content Creation and Strategy

  • Collaborate with the fundraising team to create engaging content for newsletters, social media, and the Tigers4Ever website.
  • Develop and implement PR strategies to raise awareness of Tigers4Ever’s work and impact in Bandhavgarh.
  • Monitor media coverage and provide regular updates to the trustees on PR outcomes.
