I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This isn't complex enterprise procurement or months of chasing one huge deal. It's department-level sales, regular opportunities and consistent account growth.
The Profile
We're looking for someone who is commercially hungry and ready for their next step.
You may be:
- A BDR with 12+ months' experience who is ready to move into a client-facing role
- An SDR/BDR who has consistently hit or exceeded targets and wants more responsibility
- A junior salesperson already working with customers and looking to progress into account management
- Someone with experience selling technology, IT services or similar into the Public Sector
You'll need:
- Public Sector sales experience is essential

- Plenty of opportunity to develop your client-facing and account management skills
- A genuine platform to build a long-term career in technology sales
