SATIGO is looking for an experienced Public Sector Executive Search Consultant to join our Executive Search practice.

SATIGO has recently been appointed to a major UK Government executive search framework, supporting senior appointments across Grade 6 and SCS1, SCS2, SCS3 and SCS4, alongside our wider portfolio of public-sector frameworks and clients.

We are now looking for someone who understands the UK public sector search market and wants to help us turn that platform into a high-performing executive search practice.

The opportunity

You’ll take a leading role in developing relationships and delivering senior search mandates across:

  • Central Government
  • Government Departments and Agencies
  • Arm’s-Length Bodies
  • Regulators
  • Public Finance organisations
  • Local Government
  • Wider public-sector organisations

You’ll work with senior HR, Talent, People and executive leadership teams, helping them identify and appoint high-calibre leaders into critical roles.

What you'll be doing

You’ll own the executive search lifecycle from opportunity through to appointment, including:

  • Developing relationships with senior Public Sector HR, Talent and People leaders
  • Identifying and developing new executive search opportunities
  • Responding to framework opportunities, tenders and mini-competitions
  • Advising clients on search strategy, market availability and candidate attraction
  • Leading executive search assignments across Grade 6 and Senior Civil Service levels
  • Mapping senior leadership markets and approaching passive candidates
  • Managing candidate assessment, shortlisting and client engagement
  • Building long-term relationships across the UK Public Sector
  • Working alongside our research, marketing, bid and delivery teams to grow the practice

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
