Hiring: Public Sector Grant Assessor (Skills & Employment)

We are seeking UK-based Associate Grant Assessors to join an IT and change management consultancy that specializes in streamlining complex project controls and embedding new technology across organizations. They offer cross-industry expertise spanning portfolio management, ERP system integrations, and staff development to ensure major initiatives are delivered on schedule and within budget.

In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and scoring public sector grant applications focused on skills, employability, and training, ensuring each proposal is assessed fairly against defined criteria. You will draft clear, objective, and evidence-based scoring rationales that justify your decisions and maintain transparency. Additionally, you will participate in moderation sessions and collaborate with quality assurance leads to uphold a rigorous, auditable decision trail throughout the assessment process.

  • REMOTE (UK-based only)
  • IR35 Status: Outside IR35
  • Hours: Part-Time 25 hours per week

Requirements

  • Strong background in adult skills, further education, or public sector grant/bid evaluation.
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
  • UK Right to Work and willingness to undergo standard background/conflict checks.
