Role: Public Sector Sales Lead

Location

We offer Choice-Based Working, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK. You'll also have access to our Konica Minolta and Regus offices nationwide, with occasional travel as the business requires.

Package

  • Salary: £54,273 – £70,275 + car allowance and £50k OTE

About the Role

As our next Public Sector Sales Lead, you'll manage the sales team responsible for winning, growing, and retaining customers for Konica Minolta across Public Sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management responsibility for the team of Account Managers in Public Sector
  • Ensure robust, repeatable, and measurable processes in place for the following activities; new business acquisition, account management (including service delivery where applicable), customer SOW growth and profitable retention.
  • Work closely within frameworks to build campaigns and drive successful customer engagements
  • Be responsible for coordinating service delivery and customer engagement within the accounts won and managed by the team, ensuring effective Account Planning to deliver positive customer success and, upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and customer retention.
  • Recognise that different customers will be in different contract phases, will have different needs, and will require different approaches to the mix of Sales and Service Delivery.
  • Develop well-targeted sales plans & strategies to maximise revenues and efficiencies in selling.
  • Ensure effective prospecting activity, up/cross-selling, and pipeline management.
  • Work with Marketing to define effective outbound activity to drive sales.
  • Lead solution development that best address end-user needs.
  • Coach and develop the team members, to ensure minimum standards of CRM usage, customer engagement, and new business generation is delivered consistently.

  • Experience of managing, coaching, and developing sales teams in a Managed Print environment.
  • Familiarity with Konica Minolta products and services.
  • Experience of designing and executing sales strategies.
  • Experience in managing a diverse team geography.
  • Ability to be not just a manager but a mentor.
  • Ability to prepare accurate sales forecasts.
  • Hands-on experience of CRM.
  • Excellent interpersonal & team management skills.
